Welcome to Episode Two of the people that Make an Album Sing :)

This blog features the great Talents of Australias Own BENJY POCOCK.

I can remember first meeting Benjy when I was 16 years old at the Tamworth Country Music festival, while we all travelled around doing country Music Contests. He was just a young lad with an amazing Talent! I remember seeing him playing guitar and thinking how awesome he was.

I have been lucky enough to form a friendship with Benjy and his beautful wife Soni (who also had a part in this album)and throughout the years done the odd gig with them.

Benjy did many great guitar parts and backing vocals on this album, but the one that sticks out for me is the Little Guitar Parts at the start of the verses in "THAT'S NOT LOVE" for me they really made the song :) You can listen on the Player at the TOP of this Blog page :) At first I was worried this song wasnt going to make the cut, I absolutely loved the song, but wasnt sure if I was doing it justice vocally ! And if the Melody of it was working enough! BUT once I heard it mixed and the guitars brought up in the Mix it became one of my favorites!

Benjy has also CO WRITTEN Three of the songs on "YES" and heres hoping we get a huge number one hit ! So we can spend more time writing and hanging out!

Benjy and Soni now have a fabulous Studio Tucked away in the Gorgeous Sunshine Coast and are pulling fantastic sounds and always have a fabulous atmosphere and Vibe! Have attached the link check it out :)

The People that Make an Album Sing :) Episode ONE

Over the next few weeks I will be blogging about the AMAZING Musicians that played on the new Album "YES" a lot of the time an artist brings out an album and it's all about them! But behind every artist is a line up of amazing musicians who bring the songs to life and make the singers job so much Easier :)

This week I would like to talk about the Fiddle Player on track number one "RAIN TONIGHT" you can listen to the track at www.myspace.com/luellamusic

His Name is Tim Lorsch, he is Based in America and Has played with many profiled artists ( Have listed them at the Bottom of this blog )

I absolutely LOVE what he did with this song, everything he played really helped to tell the story and the Solo is absolutely WORLD ClASS, he opens the song with the cutest little intro and he finishes the song with something that most fiddle players could only dream of being able to play :) Every time I hear this song, the solo makes me smile! It's like he's a part of the song and understands it and he plays with such emotion, WE HAVE NEVER MET!! I thank you Tim Lorsch for sharing your talent with us on this album. Hi Everyone :)

The new album "YES" is finally Pressed and ready to go :) Exciting times for all involved and I cant wait to share it with you :) has been such a wonderful Journey making this album! and with such fantastic people :)
